What is Dimethicone for:

It is used to treat the symptoms of gas such as uncomfortable or painful pressure, fulness of stomach, and bloating

How does Dimethicone work:

Dimethicone prevents formation and eases expulsion of gas.

How should Dimethicone be used:

It is usually taken four times a day, after meals and at bedtime. Swallow the regular tablets and capsules whole. Chewable tablets should be chewed thoroughly before being swallowed. Do not take more that six tablets each day unless your doctor tells you to.

Common side effects of Dimethicone :

Rarely, redness, pain and irritation at the site of application.

What do I do if I miss a dose

Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Many times this drug is taken on an as needed basis.

What is Propylene Glycol for:

How does Propylene Glycol work:

Acetic acid works to harm the bacteria and fight the infection. Hydrocortisone stops or lowers irritation and swelling.

How should Propylene Glycol be used:

Use as you have been told, even if you are feeling better. For the ear only. Wash your hands before and after use. Lie on your side with problem ear up. Pull the outer ear outward and upward. Put drops in ear without touching dropper to ear. Stay on side for 2 minutes or put cotton plug in ear. Follow what is given to you by your doctor for using the wick.

These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Very bad ear pain. Any rash. Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.
