Grilinctus BM Pediatric Syrup 30ml is a combination medicine used in children as a mucolytic (thickens the mucus) and bronchodilator (widens the bronchi), which helps in the relaxation of muscles in the airways and improves breathing. It helps to treat wheezing, chest tightness in children suffering from lung conditions such as asthma, bronchitis or emphysema. However, the uses mentioned here are not exhaustive. There may be other conditions for which this medication may be used upon doctor’s discretion.
The active ingredients of Grilinctus BM Pediatric Syrup 30ml are Bromhexine 4mg, Terbutaline 1.5mg/5ml.
Bromhexine helps in making the phlegm or mucus thinner, less viscous and expels out the mucus.
Terbutaline works by relaxing the muscles and opens the airways thus relieves one from chest tightness and shortness of breath.

Grilinctus BM Pediatric Syrup 30ml is meant for oral administration. Shake the bottle well before giving. Dosage can be administered with the cap that comes along with the container.
Avoid forgetting or missing a dose. If you do, give it to your child as soon as you remember; but if it is time for your child’s next dose, skip it and give it according to their normal schedule. Don’t give two doses at the same time which is dangerous to your health.
Give Grilinctus BM Pediatric Syrup 30ml with or without food.

Caution always advised when used with other medicines especially when used with a diuretic pill or a beta-blocker such as Atenolol, Bisoprolol, Carvedilol, Metoprolol, Nadolol, Nebivolol, Propranolol, Sotalol, and others.
Acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucous secretion and impaired mucous transport
Potent mucolytic and mucokinetic agent, capable of bringing out bronchial secretion especially mucous plugs. Chronic obstructive lung disease and bronchiectisis.
Take this drug as directed by the doctor
Rhinorrhoea, lacrimation, gastric irritation and hypersensitivity.
Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. - If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. - Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. - Do not change the dose or stop this drug. - Talk with the doctor.
If you have an allergy to bimatoprost or any other part of this drug. Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs. Make sure to tell about the allergy and what signs you had. This includes telling about rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath; wheezing; cough; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; or any other signs.
If you think there was an overdose, call your local poison control center or ER right away. Signs of a very bad reaction to the drug. These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Sudden change in eyesight, eye pain, or irritation. Any rash. Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.
Sometimes drugs are not safe when you take them with certain other drugs and food. - Taking them together can cause bad side effects. - Be sure to talk to your doctor about all the drugs you take.
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children. - Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
