Altraday capsule is a combination medicine used for the treatment of fever, pain and inflammation associated with joints and muscle spasm. It is used in moderate to severe pain relief, treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, spondylitis, osteoarthritis and in conditions such as headaches, body aches, tooth aches, menstrual pain and common cold. The capsule effectively relieves muscle stiffness, thereby improving muscle movement. However, the uses mentioned here are not comprehensive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.
The active ingredients of Altraday capsule are Aceclofenac (200MG) and Rabeprazole (20Mg)
Aceclofenac is pain-relieving medicine which work by blocking the release of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) in the brain that increase pain and inflammation. Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor and anti-ulcer, stops the action of proton pumps that are found on the cells that line the stomach there by preventing damage caused by aceclofenac.

Take Altraday capsule as instructed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule whole with water, immediately after opening it from the strip. Do not break or crush or chew the capsule.

The capsule may decrease alertness, cause impaired judgement, affect your vision and make you feel dizzy, light headedness, do not drive, operate heavy machinery or involve in any works which may demand your attention or physical strength.
Avoid grape fruit juice and alcohol as they may alter serum levels.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines which includes over-the-counter drugs, herbal tonics, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription. Alert your doctor if you are taking Altraday capsule with other NSAIDs, isoniazid, cholestyramine, metoclopramide, lithium, digoxin, ramipril, prednisolone, methotrexate, barbiturates, tacrolimus, saquinavir, warfarin.
Category C: Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.

Stop taking this drug and seek emergency medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; rash; wheezing; itching; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives).
Inform you doctor is you are taking lithium, digoxin, diuretics or ACE inhibitors. Be sure to talk to your doctor about all the drugs you take.
