Amantrel 100MG capsule is used alone or in combination with other medicines to treat Parkinson’s disease. It is also used to treat severe movement side effects caused by certain drugs (drug-induced movement disorder). It also helps in reducing the stiffness of the muscles and improves muscle control, allowing the patient to move naturally. It is also used as an antiviral medicine in the treatment of infections caused by the influenza A virus. Because of the increased risk of recurrent seizures, this medicine should be used with caution in patients with known history of seizure disorders. However, the uses mentioned here are not comprehensive. There may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

Amantadine increases the concentration of dopamine (a natural substance) in the brain which helps in relieving the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. It also has antiviral properties that blocks the influenza A virus from the growth and multiplying and stops the spread of infection.

Liver:

Lactation:
