This medication is an antitussive, prescribed for asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
How does Doxofylline work:
Treatment of symptoms and reversible airway obstruction due to chronic asthma, chronic bronchitis, or COPD.
How should Doxofylline be used:
Adult: PO- The recommended dose is up to 1,200 mgday.
It comes as a tablet and syrup to take by mouth, with or without food.
