The tablet prevents your body from absorbing too much salt and allows it to be removed through urine and prevents swelling and oedema in the body. The medicine is also used in treating congestive heart failure characterised by shortness of breath, swollen legs, rapid heartbeat and decrease in the blood flow to the body parts. It also decreases the strains on blood vessels and heart, thereby decreasing high blood pressure and reduces the risk of heart attacks, stroke and kidney problems. Frequent monitoring of electrolytes level and blood pressure is necessary during treatment with this tablet. The active ingredients of Amifru 40MG tablet are Furosemide 40 MG and Amiloride 5MG

Alert your doctor if you have signs of high potassium; Very bad dizziness or passing out; Feeling very tired or weak; Very upset stomach or throwing up; For women, period changes; lots of bleeding, spotting, or bleeding between cycles; Any rash or Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.
