      B-Long F tablet contains folic acid and pyridoxine, a naturally occurring form of vitamin B is necessary for maintaining some important functions in the body. It is prescribed for prevention and treatment of megaloblastic anaemia (condition where blood cells fail to mature properly), folic acid deficiency (characterized by mouth ulcer, pallor, persistent weakness, lethargy) and as a supplementation during pregnancy (lack of folic acid may result in birth defects of the child). It is a nutritional supplement given to cardiovascular patients to maintain complications related to cardiovascular diseases. It also helps in reducing tiredness, fatigue and protects cells from oxidative stress. However, the uses of the tablet mentioned here are not exhaustive, there may be other reasons or situations in which the medicine might be used.

Pyridoxine, master vitamin in processing of amino acids and building blocks of all proteins and some hormones, aids in the production of red and white blood cells needed for immunity and plays a role in the metabolism of proteins and fats. Pyridoxine also make neurotransmitters, which carry signals from one nerve cell to another.

      Take B- Long F tablet as instructed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening it from the strip. Do not break or crush or chew the tablet.
      Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it’s almost time for your next dose, skip it and take it according to your normal schedule. Don’t swallow two doses at the same time which is dangerous to your health.
      The tablet can be taken with or without food. Take the tablet at the same time every day as it helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body.
      Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested even though the symptoms disappear after the medicine has begun.
