Biflace 5ML eye drops contain fluorometholone, a corticosteroid used to treat swelling, itching, pain soreness, and redness of the eye caused due to surgery, injury or allergy. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers, prostaglandins that cause redness and swelling in the eye. This medicine is not suitable for any viral, bacterial or fungal infections. However, the uses mentioned here are not comprehensive. The active ingredient of Biflace 5ML eye drops is Fluorometholone 0.1% W/V

Take Biflace 5ML eye drops as instructed by your doctor. Do not use this medicine for durations shorter or longer than suggested by your doctor. Use the exact number of drops recommended by your doctor. Take the dropper close to your without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and instil 1-2 drops in the affected eye or as needed. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them and wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back. Wipe off any excess liquid.

Adult: Ophthalmic- As 0.1% ointment: Apply half an inch ribbon 1-3 timesday. As 0.1% solution: Instill 1-2 drops 2-4 timesday. May increase dose to 4 hourly in severe cases during the initial 24-48 hour. It comes as eye drops to instill into the affected eyes as directed by your physician.

Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.

These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Feeling very tired, weak, or touchy; trembling; having a fast heartbeat, confusion, sweating, or dizziness if you missed a dose or recently stopped this drug. Sudden change in eyesight, eye pain, or irritation. Any rash. Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.
Sometimes drugs are not safe when you take them with certain other drugs and food. - Taking them together can cause bad side effects. - Be sure to talk to your doctor about all the drugs you take.
