      Caldikind P 200ML suspension, a dietary supplement of multimineral and multivitamin increases bone strength & mineral content and also reduces the chance of fall & fracture. Calcium is needed by the body for healthy bones, nervous system, muscles and heart. It enhances fluid activity at joints that help absorb shock. The suspension helps boost immunity, prevent and manage nutritional deficiencies. It is prescribed for the treatment of joint pains, osteomalacia (softening of bones involving pain), osteoporosis (weak bones due to low bone density), osteoarthritis, rickets (a condition in children involving softening of the bones), hypophosphatemia, hypoparathyroidism (causing low blood calcium). It prevents weakening of the bones and bone disease in people with kidney problems (renal osteodystrophy). However, the uses of the suspension mentioned here are not comprehensive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

Calcium supplements regenerates and maintains mechanical properties of the cartilage and provide strength in load bearing bones, thereby improving flexibility in joints. Elemental magnesium and phosphorus are required for bone mineralization, bone matrix formation and in proper functioning of muscles and nerves. Elemental zinc aids in the absorption of calcium in the body and is needed for the body’s defensive (immune) system to properly work and plays a task in cell growth, cellular division, wound healing, and the breakdown of carbohydrates. Vitamin D3 works by helping the body to use more of the calcium and phosphate found in foods and supplements, supports blood vessel walls and forms a base for teeth and bones.

      Take Caldikind P 200ML suspension as instructed by your doctor. Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it’s almost time for your next dose, skip it and take it according to your normal schedule. Don’t swallow two doses at the same time which is dangerous to your health.
      The suspension can be taken with or without food. For better absorption, take the medicine with meals and avoid intake of large amounts of fibre-rich food. Take the suspension at the same time every day as it helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body.
      Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested even though the symptoms disappear after the medicine has begun.

      Overdosage

      Avoid taking medicine more than the prescribed dosage. Overdose can lead to hypercalcaemia; extreme hypercalcaemia may lead to coma and death. Irreversible renal damage and soft tissue calcification may occur as a result of prolonged hypercalcaemia in some patients.       Liver:

      Since there is not enough reliable information about the safety of taking this medicine for hepatic patients, consult your doctor if you have hepatic problems and stay on the safe side.

      Pregnancy:

      Use of this suspension is not advised unless the clinical condition of the patient requires treatment. Despite the fact that there are limited studies in human beings, animal studies have shown effects on the developing baby. It is recommended that you consult your doctor before consuming this medicine.

      Lactation:
