Ceruvin A 75MG/75MG capsule is a combination of two antiplatelet medicines or blood thinner which is used to prevent the formation of clots in blood vessels. It is prescribed for treating angina pectoris (chest pain due to insufficient oxygen supply to heart muscles), ischemic stroke and myocardial infarction and people at high risk of heart disease including recent heart attack or stroke, irregular heartbeats and those who have undergone heart procedures like stenting. However, the uses mentioned here are not comprehensive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

Clopidogrel that works by preventing clot formation in blood vessels and helps in free blood flow, thereby lowering the chance of heart attack or stroke. Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that prevents abnormal blood clotting and also relieves inflammation and swelling. The medicine is thus effective in reducing the strain on the heart and the risk of blood clot formation.

How to Use

 

How to Use

Take Ceruvin A 75MG/75MG capsule as instructed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule whole with water, immediately after opening it from the strip. Do not break or crush or chew the capsule.
Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it’s almost time for your next dose, skip it and take it according to your normal schedule. Don’t swallow two doses at the same time which is dangerous to your health.
The capsule should be taken with food. The capsule is usually taken not more than once a day. Take the capsule at the same time every day as it helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body.
Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested

Overdosage

Avoid taking medicine more than the prescribed dosage. If you notice any unusual or abnormal reactions after taking the capsule, promptly seek medical attention. Kidney:

Caution is advised among patients with kidney problems. Close monitoring of kidney function and adjustments of dose of the medicine may be needed based on the clinical condition of the patient. However, if you have any renal problems, it is highly recommended that you consult doctor before the consumption of this medicine.

Liver:

Extreme caution is advised among people with liver problems. Dose adjustments of this capsule may be needed. If you have any hepatic problems, it is highly recommended that you consult doctor before the consumption of this medicine. However, use of this capsule is not suggested in patients with severe liver diseases.

Pregnancy:

Ceruvin A 75MG/75MG capsule is not considered safe to use in pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks involved. Despite the fact that there are limited studies in human beings, animal studies have shown effects on the developing baby. It is recommended that you consult your doctor before consuming this medicine.

Lactation:

The medicine is likely unsafe to use for nursing mothers. Limited human data suggests that the medication may pass into the breastmilk and harm the infant. Consult your doctor immediately if the baby shows signs of increased sleepiness, breathing problems or difficulty in breast feeding.

Alcohol:

How should Aspirin be used:

Take aspirin exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the extended release tablets whole with a full glass of water. Do not break, crush, or chew them. Swallow the tablets with a full glass of water.
