This medicine is used with a proper healthy diet and exercise program to control high blood pressure for best possible effects. However, the uses mentioned here are not comprehensive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

How to Use

How to Use

Take Cilacar 10MG tablet as instructed by your doctor. Do not use this medicine for durations shorter or longer than suggested by your doctor. Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take the tablet as soon as remember, but it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the previous dose and take it according to your normal scheduled time. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested.
Cilacar 10MG tablet can be taken with or without food. If significant stomach upset occurs, it could be taken with food. The tablet is usually taken not more than two times a day. Take the tablet at the same time every day as it helps to maintain consistent level of medicine in the body.

Overdosage

Avoid taking medicine more than the prescribed dosage. If you notice any unusual or abnormal reactions after taking the tablet, promptly seek medical attention. Depending on the dosage of Cilacar 10MG tablet, symptoms vary in individuals, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

  • Tachycardia

Liver:

Caution is advised among people with liver problems. Dose adjustments of the Cilacar 10MG tablet may be needed. If you have any hepatic problems, it is highly recommended that you consult doctor before the consumption of this medicine.

Pregnancy:

Cilacar 10MG is not considered safe to use in pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks involved. Despite the fact that there are limited studies in human beings, animal studies have shown effects on the developing baby. It is recommended that you consult your doctor before consuming this medicine.

Lactation:

The medicine is likely unsafe to use for nursing mothers. Limited human data suggests that the medication may pass into the breastmilk and harm the infant. Consult your doctor immediately if the baby shows signs of increased sleepiness, breathing problems or difficulty in breast feeding.

Alcohol:

Interaction of alcohol with Cilacar 10MG tablet is unknown. Any symptoms of abnormal reactions after taking the medicine should be reported to your doctor immediately. If you consume alcohol on regular basis, relevant dose adjustments of the medicine may be necessary depending on your clinical condition.

Driving:

Cilacar 10MG tablet may decrease alertness, cause impaired judgement, affect your vision and make you feel dizzy, light headedness, do not drive, operate heavy machinery or involve in any works which may demand your attention or physical strength.

Food:

Avoid grape fruit juice as it may alter serum levels.

Alert your doctor if you are taking Cilacar 10MG tab with any of the below medicines:
Rifampicin
Ciclosporin, tacrolimus
Simvastatin
Erythromycin
Phenytoin
Dexamethasone
Quinidine
Carbamazepine
Cimetidine
