Cinzan 75Mg tablet belongs to group of medicines called antihistamines, is used to treat and prevent symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headaches associated with motion sickness. The medicine is also indicated as a maintenance therapy for symptoms of cerebral circulatory disorders such as tinnitus, dizziness, vertigo or peripheral circulatory disorders such as Raynaud’s phenomenon (reduced blood flow to fingers), paraesthesia (numbness of hands and feet), nocturnal cramps, cold extremities, trophic and varicose ulcers. It is also used in treating Menier’s disease and blood circulation disorders due to narrowing of vessels. However, the uses mentioned here are not exhaustive. There may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

Cinnarizine is a histamine H-1 receptor antagonist with muscarinic anticholinergic, anti-serotonergic, sedative and vasodilator properties. It works by inhibiting the contractions of vascular smooth muscles by suppressing the activation of voltage-gated calcium channels, leading to vasodilation of blood vessels of the inner ear and increased blood flow. It also acts on the vomiting centre in the brain to prevent vomiting sensation.

How to Use

How to Use

Take Cinzan 75Mg tablet as instructed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening it from the strip. Do not break or crush or chew the tablet.
Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it’s almost time for your next dose, skip it and take it according to your normal schedule. Don’t swallow two doses at the same time which is dangerous to your health.
The tablet should be taken after food. Take the tablet at the same time as it helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body.
Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested even though the symptoms disappear after the medicine has begun.

Overdosage
