Cizaspa X Tab contains mebeverine which is an antispasmodic medicine that prevents stomach pain and cramps caused by the sudden spasm of muscles and also promotes easy passage of gas to reduce discomfort in the stomach. Chlordiazepoxide is the other ingredient and is a benzodiazepine which works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

How to Use

Cizaspa X Tab can be taken before food. The dose and duration should be followed as prescribed by your doctor. It is best to take this medicine at a fixed time. It is important that this medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose.

Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening the tablet from the strip. Do not try to break/crush/chew the tablet.

Avoid missing or forgetting a dose. If you do, take Cizaspa X Tab   as soon as you remember; but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take it at the next scheduled time. Do not take two doses of this medicine at the same time as it can be dangerous to your health.

Bear in mind that it takes a few weeks for the medicine to work so you need to take it regularly even if you feel it is not doing you any good. You must keep taking the medicine until your doctor advises you to stop.

It should be taken only by the person for whom it has been recommended by a qualified physician.
