Clopilet A 75MG capsule is a combination of two antiplatelet medicines or a blood thinner which is used to prevent the formation of clots in blood vessels. It is prescribed for treating angina pectoris (chest pain due to insufficient oxygen supply to heart muscles), ischemic stroke and myocardial infarction and people at high risk of heart disease including recent heart attack or stroke, irregular heartbeats and those who have undergone heart procedures like stenting. However, the uses mentioned here are not comprehensive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

Take Clopilet A 75MG capsule as instructed by your doctor. Do not use this medicine for durations shorter or longer than suggested by your doctor. Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take the capsule as soon as remember, but it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the previous dose and take it according to your normal scheduled time. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested.
Clopilet A 75MG capsule should be taken with food. The capsule is usually taken not more than once a day. Take the capsule at the same time every day as it helps to maintain consistent level of medicine in the body.

Overdosage

Avoid taking medicine more than the prescribed dosage. If you notice any unusual or abnormal reactions after taking the capsule, promptly seek medical attention. Depending on the dosage of Clopilet A 75MG capsule, symptoms vary in individuals, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

Liver:

Extreme caution is advised among people with liver problems. Dose adjustments of the Clopilet A 75MG capsule may be needed. If you have any hepatic problems, it is highly recommended that you consult doctor before the consumption of this medicine. However, use of this capsule is not suggested in patients with severe liver diseases.

Pregnancy:

Clopilet A 75MG capsule is not considered safe to use in pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks involved. Despite the fact that there are limited studies in human beings, animal studies have shown effects on the developing baby. It is recommended that you consult your doctor before consuming this medicine.

Lactation:

The medicine is likely unsafe to use for nursing mothers. Limited human data suggests that the medication may pass into the breastmilk and harm the infant. Consult your doctor immediately if the baby shows signs of increased sleepiness, breathing problems or difficulty in breast feeding.

Alcohol:

Corticosteroids

It is used to prevent certain kinds of strokes (Brain strokes).

How does Aspirin work:

It works by stopping the production of certain natural substances that cause fever, pain, and swelling (Inflammation). It prevents clots by reducing the stickiness of platelets.

How should Aspirin be used:

Take aspirin exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the extended release tablets whole with a full glass of water. Do not break, crush, or chew them. Swallow the tablets with a full glass of water.
