It works by slowing down the processes that damage cells, regulating the intestinal fluid transport, facilitates the synthesis of proteins and DNA in cartilage, neutralize free radicals by blocking the damage caused by them, works as an antioxidant to protect cells. Selenium plays a vital role in bone formation. Zinc sulphate aids in the absorption of calcium in the body and is needed for the body’s defensive (immune) system to properly work and plays a task in cell growth, cellular division, wound healing, and the breakdown of carbohydrates. Folic acid and cyanocobalamin help in lowering elevated homocysteine levels and also plays a key role in helping the body make red blood cells, thus helps in treating anaemias.       Take Cobawyn CZS tablet as instructed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening it from the strip. Do not break or crush or chew the tablet.
      Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it’s almost time for your next dose, skip it and take it according to your normal schedule. Don’t swallow two doses at the same time which is dangerous to your health.
      Take the tablet once daily preferably after food. Take the tablet at the same time every day as it helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body.
      Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested.

      Avoid taking more than the prescribed dosage. In case of accidental overdose, promptly seek medical advice.       Pregnancy:

      Use of this medicine in pregnancy is not considered safe in pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks involved. Since limited information is available about the safety of taking Cobawyn CZS tablet, consult your doctor if you are pregnant.

      Lactation:

      This medication is passed to infants through mother’s milk. Breastfed infants should be closely monitored. Since limited information is available about the safety of taking this tablet, consult your doctor if you are nursing mother and stay on the safe side.

      Alcohol:

      Consumption of alcohol with this medicine is not recommended as it increases side effects such as of the medicine.
