      Cognix Plus tablet belongs to category of cognitive enhancers, is used in the treatment of head injury, cognitive function in people with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease, age related memory loss. The tablet works by enhancing communication between nerve cells and protects brain. It also improves the transportation of oxygen and blood to the brain which helps in the improvement of memory. It increases mental alertness and concentration as well as boosts energy levels and wakefulness. However, the uses mentioned here are not comprehensive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

      Piracetam, a nootropic medicine, works by increasing the activity of acetylcholine (chemical messenger) which improves communication between nerve cells. Ginkgo biloba increases blood flow to the brain and protects from damage by harmful chemical substances (free radicals). Vinpocetine works by protecting the brain and nervous system from shortness of oxygen and also affects various channels on nerve cells.

      How to Use

      Take Cognix Plus tablet as instructed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening it from the strip. Do not break or crush or chew the tablet.
      Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it’s almost time for your next dose, skip it and take it according to your normal schedule. Don’t swallow two doses at the same time which is dangerous to your health.
      The tablet can be taken with or without food. If significant stomach upset occurs, you could take it with food. Take the tablet at the same time every day as it helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body.
      Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested even though the symptoms disappear after the medicine has begun.

      Liver:

      Pregnancy:

      This medicine is not considered safe to use in pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks involved. Despite the fact that there are limited studies in human beings, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby.       Lactation:

      The medicine is likely unsafe to use for nursing mothers. Limited human data suggests that the medication may pass into the breastmilk and harm the infant. Consult your doctor immediately if the baby shows signs of increased sleepiness, breathing problems or difficulty in breast feeding.

      Alcohol:
