      Corparin 40MG 0.4ML PFS injection is an anticoagulant which is used to prevent and treat blood clots. It prevents the existing clots from becoming larger and inhibits the formation of new clots. It is prescribed in deep vein thrombosis (blood clot formation in legs), pulmonary embolism (blood clot in lung), prophylaxis for myocardial infarction (prevent clot formation in vessels that supply blood to heart), stroke and in prevention of thromboembolism in atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) as well as prophylaxis of ischemic complications in unstable angina. It is a perfect blood thinner and keeps the blood flowing smoothly. This medicine is used in combination with aspirin to prevent serious complications associated with angina and heart attacks. However, the uses of the medicine mentioned are not exhaustive, there may be other reasons or situations in which the medicine might be used.

      How to Use

      Do not self-administer Corparin 40MG 0.4ML injection, your nurse or trained physician will give you the medicine. Follow all the instructions given by your doctor carefully. Continue to take the medicine till the time you see an improvement in your health conditions or as advised by your doctor. If a dose is missing, it should be taken as soon as possible.
      The injection can be taken with or without food.
      Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested even though the symptoms disappear after the medicine has begun.

      Overdosage

      Try not to take more than recommended measurements. Since Corparin injection will be given by doctor or nurse, therefore it is less likely that you will receive overdose of the medicine. If there should be an occurrence of unplanned excess, look for any new signs or symptoms. On the off chance that you notice any, instantly look for clinical guidance or report it to the close poison control centre. Overdose of the medicine leads to haemorrhagic complications.

      Lactation:

      The medicine is likely safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the medication may pass through the breastmilk and does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

      Alcohol:

      What is Enoxaparin for:

      This medication prevents blood clots in patients who are on bed rest or who are having orthopedic surgery of the hip replacement, knee replacement, or large intestinal surgery. It is also used alone or in combination with warfarin to prevent and treat blood clots in the leg. It is a low molecular weight heparin. It stops the formation of substances that cause clots. It is also used in unstable angina and heart attacks.

      How does Enoxaparin work:

      Enoxaparin changes the bodys clotting system. It thins the blood to stop clots from forming.

      How should Enoxaparin be used:

      Adult-SC- Abdominal Surgery- the recommended dose is 40 mg once a day. Hip or Knee Replacement Surgery- the recommended dose is 30 mg every 12 hours. It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider under the skin.

      Common side effects of Enoxaparin :

      Bleeding problems. Irritation where the shot is given.

      What do I do if I miss a dose

      Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Do not change the dose or stop this drug. Talk with the doctor.

      If you have an allergy to enoxaparin or any other part of this drug. If you are allergic to pork products, talk with the doctor. Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs. Very bad dizziness or passing out. A fall or crash when you hit your head. Talk with your doctor even if you feel fine. Swelling, warmth, or pain in the leg or arm. Change in thinking clearly and with logic. Very upset stomach or throwing up. Very bad headache. Weakness, numbness, or tingling. Any bruising or bleeding. Any rash. Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.
