Deep 3 1GM sachet is a vitamin D preparation, primarily used to treat vitamin deficiency and its associated issues. Vitamin D is a group of fat-soluble secosteroids responsible for increasing intestinal absorption of magnesium, calcium and phosphate, and many other biological effects. The capsule uses these components to give relief from arthritic pain and stiffness. It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of joint pains, osteomalacia, osteoarthritis, rickets, hypophosphatemia, hypoparathyroidism (causing low blood calcium) and acts as building blocks for various tissues like bones, cartilage, tendons, teeth, etc. The medicine improves overall joint health of individual. Deep 3 1GM sachet provide strength in load bearing bones, thereby improving flexibility in joints. Boswellin and curcumin prevents the formation of leukotrienes in the body. Leukotrienes are molecules that have been recognised as a cause of inflammation. Collagen is a major constituent of bone cartilage and loss of collagen leads to osteoarthritis and cartilage damage. Collagen supplementation has important role in treating and preventing osteoarthritis. Sodium hyaluronate is similar to fluid that surrounds the joints in body and acts as a lubricant and reduces the inflammation associated with osteoarthritis.

How to Use

Take Deep 3 1GM sachet as instructed by your doctor. Do not use this medicine for durations shorter or longer than suggested by your doctor. Avoid missing or forgetting the dose, if you do, take the medicine as soon as remember, however if it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the previous dose and take it according to your normal scheduled time
This powder can be taken with or without food. If significant stomach upset occurs, it could be taken with food. For better absorption, take the medicine with meals and avoid intake of large amounts of fibre-rich food. Take the medicine at the same time as it helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body.
Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested.

Overdosage

Avoid taking medicine more than the prescribed dosage. Overdose can lead to hypercalcaemia; extreme hypercalcaemia may lead to coma and death. Irreversible renal damage and soft tissue calcification may occur as a result of prolonged hypercalcaemia in some patients. If you notice any unusual or abnormal reactions after taking the capsule, promptly seek medical attention. Depending on the dose of Deep 3 1GM sachet, symptoms vary in individuals, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

Kidney:

Lactation:

Use of excessive amounts of cholecalciferol in nursing mothers may result in hypercalcaemia in infants which may lead to supravalvular aortic syndrome, the features of which may include retinopathy, mental or growth retardation. Alcohol:

Interaction of alcohol with this powder is unknown. Any symptoms of abnormal reactions after taking the medicine should be reported to your doctor immediately. If you consume alcohol on regular basis, relevant dose adjustments of the medicine may be necessary depending on your clinical condition.

Driving:

This powder does not cause drowsiness or dizziness. If you notice any abnormal reactions after taking the medicine, do not drive, operate heavy machinery or involve in any works which may demand your attention or physical strength.

Food:

Foods that are rich in oxalic acid (e.g., spinach) and phytic acid (e.g., whole cereals) may reduce calcium absorption by formation of insoluble calcium salts.

Drug Interactions:

Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines which includes over-the-counter drugs, herbal tonics, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription. Alert your doctor if you are taking Cartilox sachet with with bile acid sequestrants such as cholestyramine/ colestipol, mineral oil, orlistat (as they can decrease the absorption), tetracyclines, benzalkonium chloride, antacids containing aluminium salts, thiazide diuretics (decreases urinary excretion of calcium), ibuprofen, diclofenac, indomethacin, meloxicam and other NSAIDs.
