      Deplatt A 150MG tablet is a combination of two antiplatelet medicines or blood thinner which is used to prevent the formation of clots in blood vessels. It is prescribed for treating angina pectoris (chest pain due to insufficient oxygen supply to heart muscles), ischemic stroke and myocardial infarction and people at high risk of heart disease including recent heart attack or stroke, irregular heartbeats and those who have undergone heart procedures like stenting. However, the uses mentioned here are not comprehensive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

The medicine is thus effective in reducing the strain on the heart and the risk of blood clot formation.

      Take Deplatt A 150MG tablet as instructed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening it from the strip. Do not break or crush or chew the tablet.
      Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it’s almost time for your next dose, skip it and take it according to your normal schedule. Don’t swallow two doses at the same time which is dangerous to your health.
      The tablet should be taken with food. The tablet is usually taken not more than once a day. Take the tablet at the same time every day as it helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body.
      Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested

      Avoid taking medicine more than the prescribed dosage. If you notice any unusual or abnormal reactions after taking the tablet, promptly seek medical attention. However, if you have any renal problems, it is highly recommended that you consult doctor before the consumption of this medicine.

      Liver:

      Extreme caution is advised among people with liver problems. Dose adjustments of the tablet may be needed. If you have any hepatic problems, it is highly recommended that you consult doctor before the consumption of this medicine. However, use of this tablet is not suggested in patients with severe liver diseases.

      Pregnancy:

      Deplatt A 150MG tablet is not considered safe to use in pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks involved. Despite the fact that there are limited studies in human beings, animal studies have shown effects on the developing baby. It is recommended that you consult your doctor before consuming this medicine.

      Lactation:

      The medicine is likely unsafe to use for nursing mothers. Limited human data suggests that the medication may pass into the breastmilk and harm the infant. Consult your doctor immediately if the baby shows signs of increased sleepiness, breathing problems or difficulty in breast feeding.

      Alcohol:

      Consumption of alcohol with this tablet is not recommended as it increases side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, dizziness, light headedness. If there are any signs of discomfort or any natural reactions after taking the tablet, report to your doctor immediately.

      Driving:

      Avoid grape fruit juice may reduce antiplatelet effect of the medicine.

      Take aspirin exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the extended release tablets whole with a full glass of water. Do not break, crush, or chew them. Swallow the tablets with a full glass of water.
