Dermpod 100GM cream helps to relieve flakiness of the skin, eczema, dermatitis, athlete’s foot and the infected skin without altering the serum concentration. It makes the hyperkeratotic areas softer. It is also indicated for dry skin conditions like chapped or cracked skin, psoriasis, burns, fractures and other conditions. This cream acts as a moisturizer, heals wounds, increases the re-establishments of the normal skin and promotes cell proliferation and longevity. However, the uses of this cream mentioned here are not exhaustive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.
The active ingredients of Dermpod 100GM cream are Lactic acid 5% W/W, Liquid paraffin 10% W/W, Propylene glycol 10% W/W and Urea 10% W/W
Lactic acid is used as an emollient due to its keratolytic and moisturizing effect. It increases the water content of the cells, aids in wound healing, increases skin smoothness and promote cell proliferation. Propylene glycol is effective moisturizing agent to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations. Urea treats dry skin, blemishes, wrinkles, sunburn, psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis, athlete’s foot. Liquid paraffin creates a barrier on skin that retains oils that are naturally produced by the body.

Dermpod 100GM cream is usually well tolerated when used in the prescribed dosage guidelines. Most side effects are temporary and usually subsides on their own. However, consult your doctor if they persist for a longer duration. You may experience one or more of the following symptoms:
