These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Signs of low mood (depression), thoughts of killing yourself, nervousness, emotional ups and downs, thinking that is not normal, anxiety, or lack of interest in life. Very bad dizziness or passing out. Trouble breathing. A big weight gain. Feeling very tired or weak. Any rash. Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.
Alert your doctor if you are taking any other medicines, especially those listed here: - - other medicines for high blood pressure or heart disease, especially clonidine, prazosin. - migraine medicines such as ergotamine. - rifampicin (a TB medicine). Do not take antacids together with Metoprolol. Antacids may affect the effectiveness of Metoprolol. If you must take antacids, take it at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after you take Metoprolol. - Always inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal tonics, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription.
