Fenodol Super 15mg Tab is a combination of medicines used to relieve fevers, pain and swelling associated with post-operative wounds, muscle pains, joint pains and postoperative pain in ailments like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and osteoarthritis. However, the uses mentioned here may not be exhaustive. There may be other reasons or situations in which this medicine might be used.

Mechanism of Action of Drugs

Aceclofenac works by blocking the effect of natural substances called cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes which help to make other pain and inflammation causing chemicals in the body, called prostaglandins. Paracetamol works by blocking chemical messengers in the brain that tell us we have pain and also reduces a high body temperature by affecting the chemical messengers in an area of the brain that regulates it. Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme, which means that it breaks down proteins into smaller components called amino acids.

How to Use

How to Use

Fenodol Super 15mg Tab can be taken with food or on an empty stomach. The dose and duration should be followed as prescribed by your doctor. It is best to take this medicine at a fixed time. It is important that this medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose.
Swallow it whole with water, immediately after opening the tablet from the strip. Do not try to break/crush/chew the tablet.
Avoid missing or forgetting a dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take it at the next scheduled time. Do not take two doses at the same time.
Fenodol Super 15mg Tab should be taken only by the person for whom it has been recommended by a qualified physician.

Overdosage

Signs and symptoms MAY BE NOTED in case of an overdosage. If you notice any unusual or abnormal reactions in your body after taking Fenodol Super 15mg Tab, contact your doctor immediately. What do I do if I miss a dose

Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Many times this drug is taken on an as needed basis.

What precautions should I take when taking Aceclofenac :

Inform your doctor is you suffer from history of peptic ulceration, cerebrovascular bleeding, ulcerative colitis, crohns disease, systemic lupus erythmatosus, porphyria, haematopoietic or coagulation disorders. The dose will be adjusted in people with hepatic, renal or cardiac function impairment.

When do I need to seek medical help

Do not take the drug if you had an allergic reaction to the medication in the past. Stop taking this drug and seek emergency medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; rash; wheezing; itching; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives).

Can I take Aceclofenac with other medicines:

Inform you doctor is you are taking lithium, digoxin, diuretics or ACE inhibitors. Be sure to talk to your doctor about all the drugs you take.
