Finabald 5MG tablet is used in men to relieve the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia) such as painful urination, difficulty in passing urine and urinary urgency or frequency. It is also used to treat common hereditary hair loss and androgenetic hair loss in males (male-pattern baldness). This medicine is not recommended for use if the hair loss is due to any other cause and in women. It increases blood flow to hair follicles on your scalp and enhances new hair growth. This medicine is most effective for baldness or thinning at the top of the scalp and less effective for receding hairline. Finasteride may affect the ejaculation even after stopping the treatment and you may need several days to recover. Finabald 5MG tablet is usually well tolerated when used in the prescribed dosage guidelines. Most side effects are temporary and usually subsides on their own. However, consult your doctor if they persist for a longer duration. You may experience one or more of the following symptoms:
Take Finabald 5MG tablet as instructed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening it from the strip. Do not break or crush or chew the tablet.

This medication is a synthetic antiandrogen, prescribed for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostate cancer, and hair loss. It prevents testosterone conversion in to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body.
