      How to Use

      Finax 1mg Tab can be taken with food or without it. The dose and duration should be followed as prescribed by your doctor. It is best to take this medicine at a fixed time. It is important that this medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose.
      Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening the tablet from the strip. Do not try to break/crush/chew the tablet.
      Avoid missing or forgetting a dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take it at the next scheduled time. Do not take two doses of this medicine at the same time as it can be dangerous to your health.
      Bear in mind that it takes a few weeks for the medicine to work so you need to take it regularly even if you feel it is not doing you any good. You must keep taking the medicine until your doctor advises you to stop.
      This medicine should be taken only by the person for whom it has been recommended by a qualified physician. This capsule should not be taken by women or children.

      Overdosage

      Signs and symptoms MAY BE NOTED in case of an overdosage. If you notice any unusual or abnormal reactions in your body after taking this medicine, please contact your doctor immediately. It is advisable to consult your doctor and let him/her know in advance if you have any ailments related to the liver before using this medicine.

      Pregnancy:

      What is Finasteride for:

      This medication is a synthetic antiandrogen, prescribed for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostate cancer, and hair loss. It prevents testosterone conversion in to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body.

      How does Finasteride work:

      Finasteride lowers prostate growth by lowering testosterone levels. It helps hair regrowth and slows hair loss.

      How should Finasteride be used:

      PO- The recommended dose is 5 mg orally once a day. It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food.

      Common side effects of Finasteride :

      Change in sex ability. This most often goes back to normal. A fast growing prostate cancer may rarely happen.

      What do I do if I miss a dose

      Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Do not change the dose or stop this drug. Talk with the doctor.

      What precautions should I take when taking Finasteride :

      Finasteride must not be taken by children or women. - Alert your doctor if you ever had prostate cancer. - Do not donate blood while being treated with Finasteride.

      When do I need to seek medical help

      If you think there was an overdose, call your local poison control center or ER right away. Signs of a very bad reaction to the drug. These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. A lump in the breast, breast soreness, or nipple discharge. Any rash. Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.

      Can I take Finasteride with other medicines:
