      Flucort skin 0.01% 30ML lotion is a topical medicine used to relieve the adverse effects such as swelling, redness and itching associated with steroid responsive skin conditions. It is effective in treating skin conditions with inflammation and itching such as eczema (a skin condition in which skin becomes dry, itchy, red and bumpy), dermatitis (redness, pain, rash, itchiness caused by your skin’s reaction to an irritant) and psoriasis (scaly itchy patches which may develop on the elbows, knees, scalp and other body parts). This medicine works by reducing the actions of chemicals in the body that cause inflammation of the skin. However, the uses of this lotion mentioned here are not exhaustive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

      Apply Flucort skin 0.01% 30ML lotion as instructed by your doctor. Do not use this lotion for durations shorter or longer than suggested by your doctor.
      Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount prescribed, even though the symptoms disappear after medicine has begun. Stopping the medication too early can lead to infection relapse.
      Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a thin layer of this lotion 3-4 times daily or as advised by your doctor and gently rub on the affected areas. Avoid getting this lotion in contact with open wounds, eyes, mouth and nose. Do not apply this lotion immediately before, during, or after activities that increase skin temperature (e.g., heavy exercise, bathing in hot water, sun bathing, swimming) or in hot/humid weather.

      Overdosage

      Avoid applying the Flucort skin 0.01% lotion more than required. An overdose is extremely unlikely with this lotion since it is only for external use. Internal consumption of medicine leads to harmful side effects. Consult your doctor if you experience any allergic reaction. Symptoms of over dose may include:

      • Burning sensation
