      Fondaflo 7.5MG/0.6ML injection is an anticoagulant which is used to prevent and treat blood clots. It prevents the existing clots from becoming larger and inhibits the formation of new clots. It is prescribed in deep vein thrombosis (blood clot formation in legs), pulmonary embolism (blood clot in lung), prophylaxis for myocardial infarction (prevent clot formation in vessels that supply blood to heart), stroke and in prevention of thromboembolism in atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) as well as prophylaxis of ischemic complications in unstable angina. It is a perfect blood thinner and keeps the blood flowing smoothly. This medicine also helps in preventing the formation of blood clots in catheters that are placed in veins for a prolonged period of time. However, the uses of this injection mentioned here are not comprehensive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

      How to Use

      Do not self-administer Fondaflo 7.5MG/0.6ML injection, your nurse or trained physician will give you the medicine. Follow all the instructions given by your doctor carefully. Continue to take the medicine till the time you see an improvement in your health conditions or as advised by your doctor. If a dose is missing, it should be taken as soon as possible.
      The injection can be taken with or without food.
      Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested even though the symptoms disappear after the medicine has begun.

      Overdosage

      Avoid taking Fondaflo 7.5MG/0.6ML injection more than the prescribed dosage. Since this injection will be given by doctor or nurse, therefore it is less likely that you will receive overdose of the medicine. If there should be an occurrence of unplanned excess, look for any new signs or symptoms. Overdose of the medicine leads to haemorrhagic complications.

      Kidney:

      Caution is advised among patients with severe renal impairment. Dose adjustments of the injection may be needed. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is recommended while taking this injection. If you have any renal problems, it is highly recommended that you consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

      Liver:

      The injection should be used with caution in patients with moderate and severe liver disease. We highly recommend that you consult your doctor before the use. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of skin and eyes, itching and clay-colored stools while taking this injection.

      Pregnancy:

      This injection is not considered safe to use in pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks involved.       Lactation:

      Alcohol:
