How should Gamma Benzene Hexachloride be used:
Follow how to use carefully. Do not take this drug by mouth. Use on your skin only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn). Wash your hands before and after use. Clean affected part before use. Make sure to dry well. Wait at least 1 hour after you bathe or shower before putting on this drug. Wash all bedding, towels, and recently worn clothes in hot water or have them dry cleaned.
Common side effects of Gamma Benzene Hexachloride :
Itching. Talk to the doctor about what to do. Dry skin. Headache.
What do I do if I miss a dose
Do not put on 2 doses or extra doses.
What precautions should I take when taking Gamma Benzene Hexachloride :
If you have an allergy to lindane or any other part of this drug. Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs. Make sure to tell about the allergy and what signs you had. This includes telling about rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath; wheezing; cough; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; or any other signs. If you have seizures. If you have used lindane in the past, talk with your doctor. If the skin you are treating has sores or psoriasis or is broken.
When do I need to seek medical help
If you think there was an overdose, call your local poison control center or ER right away. Signs of a very bad reaction to the drug. These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Very bad dizziness or passing out. A burning or tingling feeling that is not normal. Very bad skin irritation. Any rash. Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.
Can I take Gamma Benzene Hexachloride with other medicines:
Sometimes drugs are not safe when you take them with certain other drugs and food. - Taking them together can cause bad side effects. - Be sure to talk to your doctor about all the drugs you take.
