What is Itraconazole for:
This medication is an antifungal agent, prescribed for treating fungal infections.
How does Itraconazole work:
It interferes with the formation of the fungal cell membrane and kills fungi.
How should Itraconazole be used:
It comes as a capsule to take by mouth, on an empty stomach. Adult- PO- The recommended dose is 100 to 200 mg once daily (2 capsules).
Common side effects of Itraconazole :
Headache. Belly pain. Upset stomach or throwing up. Many small meals, good mouth care, sucking hard, sugar-free candy, or chewing sugar-free gum may help. Loose stools (diarrhea). Hearing loss. This can be long-lasting. Harm to the liver may rarely happen.
What do I do if I miss a dose
Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Do not change the dose or stop this drug. Talk with the doctor.
What precautions should I take when taking Itraconazole :
If you have an allergy to itraconazole or any other part of this drug. Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs. Make sure to tell about the allergy and what signs you had. This includes telling about rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath; wheezing; cough; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; or any other signs. If you have a weak heart or are pregnant and are being treated for a nail infection. If you had liver problems while taking some other drug in the past.
When do I need to seek medical help
If you think there was an overdose, call your local poison control center or ER right away. Signs of a very bad reaction to the drug. These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Trouble breathing. Very bad swelling. Very bad belly pain. Very upset stomach or throwing up. Very loose stools (diarrhea). Change in hearing. Sudden change in eyesight. Numbness or tingling in your hands or feet. Not able to eat. A big weight gain. Swelling on legs or feet. Dark urine or yellow skin or eyes. Feeling very tired or weak. Any rash. Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.

What is Terbinafine for:
This medication is an antifungal agent, prescribed for jock itch, athletes foot and other types of ringworm infections. It works by stopping the growth of fungi.
How does Terbinafine work:
Terbinafine works to harm the yeast and fight the infection.
How should Terbinafine be used:
It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food. It also comes as an ointment, cream, and solution to apply topically. Adults: Toenail- 250 mg once daily for 12 weeks. Cream: Local application once or twice daily over the affected skin area.
