Mechanism of Action of Drugs

Mechanism of Action of Drugs

Pyridoxine aids in improvement of metabolism, burning of more calories, enhancement of immunity and supports nervous system activity. Anaemia and peripheral neuropathy may result from lack of pyridoxine. Vitamin B6 must be acquired from diet since humans cannot produce it. Folic acid and methyl cobalamin help in lowering elevated homocysteine levels and also plays a key role in helping the body make red blood cells, thus helps in treating anaemias.
