It is used in the treatment of acute pain, the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis, and primary dysmenorrhoea in adolescents and adults above 12 years old. . It makes the sputum thinner and less viscous and therefore more easily removed by coughing. Mancold Tab can increase the effectiveness of cough, either by increasing expiratory cough airflow or by loosening highly adhesive secretions from the airway walls. Mancold Tab is primarily used for dry cough. However, the uses mentioned here may not be exhaustive. There may be other reasons or situations in which this medicine might be used.

      Nimesulide is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug with pain medication and fever reducing properties. It is used in the treatment of acute pain and the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which aids in narrowing the small blood vessels. This action provides relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Levocetirizine is used to relieve symptoms like a runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, sneezing. It helps in relieving symptoms caused by hay fever, seasonal allergies, and allergies to other substances such as dust mites, animal dander, and mold. Levocetirizine is also used to treat symptoms of hives.

      Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening the tablet from the strip. Do not try to break/crush/chew the tablet.

      Avoid missing or forgetting a dose. If you do, take Mancold Tab as soon as you remember; but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take it at the next scheduled time. Do not take two doses of Mancold Tab at the same time as it can be dangerous to your health.

      What is Levocetirizine for:

      This medication is an antihistamine, prescribed for allergic conditions.

      It comes as a tablet, syrup to take by mouth with or without food. Adult: Oral- 2.5-5 mgday in the evening. Max: 5 mgday.
