Maxmala capsule is a combination of Alpha lipoic acid (100Mg), Mecobalamin (0.75Mg) and Pregabalin (75Mg)

Mechanism of Action of Drugs

Mechanism of Action of Drugs

Alpha lipoic acid provides an antioxidant effect to protect peripheral nerves and enhances the function and conduction of neurons in diabetes. Pregabalin acts by reducing certain chemical transmitters (calcium channel activity) in the brain and slowing down nerve impulses. Mecobalamin help in lowering elevated homocysteine levels and also plays a key role in helping the body make red blood cells, thus helps in treating anaemias and nerve problems. Thus, this combination is better effective in relieving painful diabetic neuropathy.
