      Montair FX Tab has two powerful ingredients which provide relief from all sorts of allergies and flu-like symptoms such as a blocked or a runny nose, sneezing and itchy eyes. Montair FX Tab is also used to treat the symptoms of Asthma. However, the uses mentioned here may not be exhaustive. There may be other reasons or situations in which this medicine might be used.



      The active ingredients of Montair FX Tab are Montelukast 10 MG+Fexofenadine 120 MG

      The ingredient fexofenadine is a very effective antiallergic medication which is used to treat allergy symptoms such as rashes, itching, swelling, by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger known as histamine in the body. Montelukast is the other powerful ingredient in Montair FX Tab which works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger.

      How to Use

      Montair FX Tab can be taken with food or on an empty stomach. The dose and duration should be followed as prescribed by your doctor. It is best to take it at a fixed time. It is important that this medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose.
      Swallow it whole with water, immediately after opening the Tab from the strip. Do not try to break/crush/chew the medicine.
      Avoid missing or forgetting a dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take it at the next scheduled time. Do not take two doses at the same time as it can be dangerous to your health.
      This medication should be taken only by the person for whom it has been recommended by a qualified physician.


      Signs and symptoms MAY BE NOTED in case of an overdosage. If you notice any unusual or abnormal reactions in your body after taking Montair FX Tab, contact your doctor immediately.       What is Fexofenadine for:

      This medication is an antihistamine, prescribed for seasonal allergic reactions such as runny nose, sneezing, red, itchy, or watery eyes; itching. It blocks histamines action, which reduces allergy symptoms.

      How does Fexofenadine work:

      Fexofenadine lowers or stops the bodys reaction to the allergen.

      How should Fexofenadine be used:

      Adults: The recommended dose is 60 mg twice daily or 180 mg once daily with water. Children 6 to 11 Years: The recommended dose is 30 mg twice daily with water. It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with water.

      Common side effects of Fexofenadine :

      Feeling lightheaded, sleepy, having blurred eyesight, or a change in thinking clearly. Avoid driving and doing other tasks or actions that call for you to be alert or have clear eyesight until you see how this drug affects you. - Headache.

      What do I do if I miss a dose

      Use a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Many times this drug is taken on an as needed basis

These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Very bad dizziness or passing out. Feeling very tired or weak. Any rash. Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.

      Can I take Fexofenadine with other medicines:

      Sometimes drugs are not safe when you take them with certain other drugs and food. - Taking them together can cause bad side effects. - Be sure to talk to your doctor about all the drugs you take.
