      Mucinac 600MG tablet is a mucolytic agent used to relieve blockage, swelling, chest congestion associated with conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema, bronchitis. The medicine is also used as an antidote against paracetamol overdosing and in treating dry eye syndrome. The tablet helps to loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out, thus making easier for air to move in and out. It is used to relieve symptoms of wheezing, cough, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, fatigue. However, the uses mentioned here are not comprehensive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

      N-Acetylcysteine is a mucolytic agent, that acts by reducing the thickness of mucus present in the airways providing relief from congestion and stuffiness in the nose. It also relaxes the smooth muscles of the airways in the lungs and also regulates the production and movement of mucus from the windpipe.

      Take Mucinac 600MG tablet as instructed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening it from the strip. Do not break or crush or chew the tablet.
      Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it’s almost time for your next dose, skip it and take it according to your normal schedule. Don’t swallow two doses at the same time which is dangerous to your health.
      This tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. Take the tablet at the same time every day as it helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body.
      Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested.

      Overdosage

      Avoid taking medicine more than the prescribed dosage. If you notice any unusual or abnormal reactions after taking the tablet, promptly seek medical attention.       Liver:

      Caution is advised among people with liver problems. Dose adjustments of the tablet may be needed. If you have any hepatic problems, it is highly recommended that you consult doctor before the consumption of this medicine.

      Pregnancy:

      Mucinac 600MG tablet is considered safe to use in pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks involved. Despite the fact that there are limited studies in human beings, animal studies have shown no or low effects on the developing baby. It is recommended that you consult your doctor before consuming this medicine.

      Lactation:

      The medicine is likely safe to use for nursing mothers. Limited human data suggests that the medication may pass through the breastmilk and does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

      Alcohol:
