PABA is also commonly used for the treatment of infertility among women, arthritis, anemia, rheumatic fever, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), constipation and headaches. Para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA) interacts with Antibiotics (Sulfonamide antibiotics) and can decrease their effectiveness.Some of these antibiotics include sulfamethoxazole, sulfasalazine, sulfisoxazole, and trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole. PABA also interacts with Dapsone used as an antibiotic and reduces its effectiveness in treating infections. PABA interacts with Cortisone decreasing how quickly the body breaks down cortisone. Taking PABA by mouth and getting a cortisone shot might increase the effects and side effects of cortisone.
How do I store Para-Aminobenzoic acid :
Keep container tightly closed. It is suitable for any general chemical storage area. Containers of this material may be hazardous when empty since they retain product residue.
