      Uses and Benefits

      Uses and Benefits

Pantorite D capsule is an anti-ulcer and anti-emetic medicine used to treat conditions where the stomach produces too much acid. High levels of stomach acid can induce stomach and duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. The capsule is prescribed in treating stomach and intestinal ulcers, symptoms associated with idiopathic or diabetic gastroparesis, interactable nausea and vomiting, heartburn, fullness of stomach and other conditions. It relieves stress ulcers as well as acidity caused by painkillers. However, the uses mentioned are not exhaustive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

      Composition

      Composition

The active ingredients of Pantorite D capsule are Pantoprazole (40Mg) and Domperidone (30Mg)

      Mechanism of Action of Drugs

      Mechanism of Action of Drugs

Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor and anti-ulcer, stops the action of proton pumps that are found on the cells that line the stomach there by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach. Domperidone works by blocking certain chemicals in the brain that controls nausea or vomiting. It acts on upper digestive tract of stomach and intestine which causes faster gastric emptying permitting food to move easily through the stomach.
