Pilants tablet is an ayurvedic medicine used to treat piles (haemorrhoids), bleeding discharges from mucous membranes and microcirculation disorders (ineffective functioning of capillaries, arterioles, venules). It is prescribed for pain and bleeding associated with anal fissures, internal or external haemorrhoids and post haemorrhoidectomy pain. The medicine improves blood flow, decreases leakage and rupture of veins, prevents clotting of blood and effectively relieves swelling, pain, irritation or itching caused due to piles. It also has anti-oxidant properties that promote effective healing in piles. Avoid spicy, oil-rich food and take plenty of fibres to aid in digestion. Take Pilants tablet as instructed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening it from the strip. Do not break or crush or chew the tablet.
Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it’s almost time for your next dose, skip it and take it according to your normal schedule. Don’t swallow two doses at the same time which is dangerous to your health.
