      Uses and Benefits

      Pilants tablet is an ayurvedic medicine used to treat piles (haemorrhoids), bleeding discharges from mucous membranes and microcirculation disorders (ineffective functioning of capillaries, arterioles, venules). It is prescribed for pain and bleeding associated with anal fissures, internal or external haemorrhoids and post haemorrhoidectomy pain. The medicine improves blood flow, decreases leakage and rupture of veins, prevents clotting of blood and effectively relieves swelling, pain, irritation or itching caused due to piles. It also has anti-oxidant properties that promote effective healing in piles. Avoid spicy, oil-rich food and take plenty of fibres to aid in digestion. However, the uses mentioned here are not exhaustive. There may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

      How to Use

      Take Pilants tablet as instructed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, immediately after opening it from the strip. Do not break or crush or chew the tablet.
      Avoid missing or forgetting the dose. If you do, take it as soon as you remember; but if it’s almost time for your next dose, skip it and take it according to your normal schedule. Don’t swallow two doses at the same time which is dangerous to your health.
      This tablet can be taken with or without food. Take the medicine twice daily or as advised by your physician. Take the tablet at the same time every day as it helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body.
      Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine before completion of the course or without consulting your doctor. Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested even though the symptoms disappear after the medicine has begun.
