      Platigen capsule is a dietary supplement used in the management of low platelet count in dengue, viral, bacterial, malarial infections and prevents the complications of thrombocytopenia. The capsule helps in increasing immunity and maintains overall health. It is used to treat to mild digestive disorders like bloating, dyspepsia and chronic indigestion by improving the digestion of carbohydrates and fats due to the presence of enzymes like papain, chymopapain and high contents of vitamin A, B and C. Platigen capsule along with other medicines is used in the treatment of diabetes, high cholesterol, allergic rhinitis, rheumatoid arthritis, peptic ulcer disease. However, the uses of the capsule mentioned here are not exhaustive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.

      The active ingredients of Platigen capsule are Carica papaya leaf extract (350Mg) and Tinospora Cordifolia (150Mg)

      Platigen capsule contains leaf extract of carica papaya which contains enzymes that are proteolytic in nature and helps in digestion of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. It also induces the secretion of interleukin 6 mediator which aids in thrombopoietin (a hormone that stimulates the platelet formation) production in liver. Hence, this medicine helps to increase the platelet count in the blood.

Continue to use this drug until completion of the maximum amount suggested. Do not break/crush/chew the capsule.
      Platigen capsule can be taken with or without food. If significant stomach upset occurs, it could be taken with food. Take the capsule at the same time as it helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body.

      Overdosage

      Warfarin (Coumadin)
      Tetracyclines
      Anti-diabetic drugs: Metformin, insulin, pioglitazone, glimepiride
