Ranitidine 150MG tablet is an anti-ulcer medicine used to treat conditions where the stomach produces too much acid. This medicine is prescribed for stomach and duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, erosive esophagitis, dyspepsia and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It relieves stress ulcers as well as acidity caused by painkillers. It also relieves indigestion and sour stomach due to production of excess acid in stomach. This medication is an antacid, antireflux agent and antiulcerant, prescribed for peptic ulcer. It decreases the amount of acid made in the stomach.
Ranitidine helps avoid harm to the GI (gastrointestinal) tract caused by stomach acid or infection.
It comes as a capsule and tablet to take by mouth, with or without food. Adult: PO- Initial: The recommended dose is 300 mg at bedtime or 150 mg twice daily for 4-8 weeks depending on the condition.

If you think there was an overdose, call your local poison control center or ER right away. Signs of a very bad reaction to the drug. These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Very bad dizziness or passing out. Change in thinking clearly and with logic. Chest pain or pressure or a fast heartbeat. Any bruising or bleeding. Any rash. Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.
Sometimes drugs are not safe when you take them with certain other drugs and food. - Taking them together can cause bad side effects. - Be sure to talk to your doctor about all the drugs you take.
Avoid Alcohol
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children. - Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
