Silodal D8 capsule is an alpha-adrenergic antagonist that is used in men to relieve the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia) such as painful urination, difficulty in passing urine and urinary urgency or frequency. However, the medicine does not decrease the size of the prostate.
