      Mechanism of Action of Drugs

Cefoperazone sodium is an antibiotic that works by inhibiting the formation of bacterial protective covering or cell wall which is fundamental for the survival of the bacteria. By doing so, the medicine kills the infection causing bacteria and prevents the infection from spreading without making them resistant to further treatment. Sulbactum is effective against specific species of bacteria that are resistant to other antibiotic medicines and enhances the activity of cefoperazone against bacteria.
