Walcium SG capsule, a dietary nutritional supplement increases bone strength & mineral content and also reduces the chance of fall & fracture. Calcium is needed by the body for healthy bones, nervous system, muscles and heart. The capsule helps boost immunity, prevent and manage calcium deficiencies. It is prescribed for the treatment of joint pains, osteomalacia, osteoarthritis, rickets, hypophosphatemia, hypoparathyroidism (causing low blood calcium). Walcium SG capsule is a combination of Calcitriol (0.25 Mcg), Calcium carbonate (500Mg) and Elemental zinc (7.5Mg)

This medication is a synthetic vitamin D analog, prescribed for hypocalcemia in patients undergoing chronic renal dialysis. It helps proper absorption and use of calcium and phosphate in the body.

PO- The recommended initial dose is 1 mcg (0.02 mcgkg) to 2 mcg administered three times weekly, approximately every other day. It comes as a tablet and capsule to take by mouth, with or without food.
